Basic Email vs. Pro Email
Both plans give you a professional address at your own domain. The difference is where your messages live: Basic Email downloads them to your devices, while Pro Email keeps them online so every device stays in sync.
Not sure which plan you have? Check the incoming server in your email settings. mail.mailconfig.net means Pro Email, and mailu.wpmudev.host means Basic Email. Or just ask us.

Basic Email policies and limitations
- Available only for websites hosted by Leaders Leaving Legacies.
- Up to 10 email accounts per website. If you need more, Pro Email is the better fit.
- Addresses must use your main domain (yourdomain.com), not a subdomain such as shop.yourdomain.com.
- Domains with international characters, such as é or ü, aren’t supported.
- A domain can use Basic Email or email forwarding, but not both.
- Each inbox holds 100 MB in total, with attachments up to 15 MB each. Extra storage can’t be purchased.
- No warning is sent when an inbox is full; new messages bounce back to the sender.
- Sending is limited to 10 messages per minute.
- Basic Email works with POP and SMTP only, so IMAP syncing and webmail aren’t available.
- Existing email can’t be imported from another provider.
